CrossFit has its own language and I’m sure there will be additions to the list below.

  • the box:  a CrossFit gym
  • WOD:  workout of the day
  • AMRAP:  as many reps as possible
  • Tabata:  twenty seconds of as many reps for 8 rounds, resting 10 seconds between each round
  • BS:  back squat
  • BP:  bench press
  • DL:  deadlift
  • FS:  front squat
  • GTO:  ground to overhead
  • KB:  kettlebell
  • Rx’d:  as prescribed
  • PR:  personal record
