Retrain your Mind.

We have a HELP Group (Healthy Eating and Living Program) at work.  A group of us try to meet on a weekly basis to talk through our goals and make new ones.  We identify our struggles and ways to deal with them and we try to keep each other motivated and inspired.  One of the members of our HELP Group, Margaret, gave me something that I look at every SINGLE day.  I have it taped on my computer screen at work, see the picture below.

Retrain Your Mind

If you cannot read the picture, it says:  I am a good person and a hard worker.  I deserve not to eat that [insert your weakness here].  I am reshaping my mind and body.

It is exactly right.  We are WORTH being healthy and the best we can be.

    I agree with this 100%. We did not learn our in healthy eating or gain all this weight in 6 months, nor will we retrain or lose it all in 6 months. We are in it for life, so that we can’t hen actually LIVE our lives to the fullest.

    You are a good writer Stephanie. You and Kari should co-author a book about your lives. A best seller it would be!
